Dinner Time
Typically, we require formal princess attire, but David and Natalie have recently been rebelling.
We just introduced solids to Natalie. She was excited and ambivalent about the carrots all at the same time. But hey, if all you know is breast milk and rice cereal who wouldn't be a little freaked out by the electric orange?
Our new place
On June 30 we bought a new house--a 1943 cape--and spent all of July and part of August fixing it up. "Comfortable but worn" was how the property manager described it (she was
pretty generous). It has come a long way (more "before and after" photos to come). One of the first things that David did was rip out the ENORMOUS bushes that had become "one" with the house. No offense to anyone who has yews, but they make me think "old lady bushes"...I'm not sad they're gone.
The best part is the
neighborhood. "Super awesome" is the only way to describe it (in
Eliza-speak).
The sprinkler came out at the end of a hot hot day..
