On June 30 we bought a new house--a 1943 cape--and spent all of July and part of August fixing it up. "Comfortable but worn" was how the property manager described it (she was
pretty generous). It has come a long way (more "before and after" photos to come). One of the first things that David did was rip out the ENORMOUS bushes that had become "one" with the house. No offense to anyone who has yews, but they make me think "old lady bushes"...I'm not sad they're gone.
Here, our neighbor Nate performs incredible bike stunts while his sister Soph rocks it out. The others look on...
We love our new neighbors!
[this is good] Super duper!! Congratulations!! That house looks absolutely adorable :-D Would love to come up and visit some time! By the way, apparently VOX is shutting its doors soon? Are you going to move the blog somewhere else? Or just be lazy and Tweet stuff like me? :-)

Vox is apparently offering a free, quick and easy transfer of the blog to Typepad, so I'm thinking about doing that. I like having the archive to be able to look back through. Have you heard anything about Typepad? Not sure what the interface is like.
